Kimberly is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a background in both inpatient and outpatient mental health care. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Mid-State Technical College, followed by a Bachelor’s in Nursing from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She then pursued her Master’s in Nursing with a specialty Psychiatry from the University of South Alabama, where she developed a passion for addressing the complex mental health needs of a diverse population. Currently, Kimberly is advancing her education further as a student at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she is pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Nursing.

With over five years of experience working with individuals facing a range of mental health challenges—such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorders, and cognitive impairments—Kimberly is deeply committed to helping people navigate their mental health journeys. Her clinical experience has equipped her with a broad understanding of the nuances of mental illness, and she strives to provide compassionate, individualized care for each patient she serves.

In addition to her clinical work, Kimberly is dedicated to educating the next generation of healthcare providers. She teaches mental health in the nursing program, believing that mental health is an essential part of overall well-being. She advocates for a holistic approach that emphasizes the connection between mental health and physical health, aiming to shift the way people approach self-care in both their personal and professional lives.

Kimberly’s goal is to help individuals lead fulfilling lives—equipped with the tools and support to thrive, regardless of the mental health challenges they may face. Inspired by the words of Dr. Paul Farmer, she believes that "the idea that some lives matter less is the root of all that is wrong with the world." She strives to bring this philosophy into her practice, empowering her patients to recognize their worth and pursue success and happiness in their own lives.
